Why is Sunday School Ministry Important?

Sunday School is important for families and for church growth because it allows children to be engaged in a class with child-level teachings, the Gospel message, or what obedience to God and a relationship with Him should look like.

It also serves as a foundation to the church's development and continuity in that the values or principles installed at a younger age can be transferred precisely along the structures of the church setup, as the children grow the values will be their pillar of strength along the way.

Zombodze AFC Sunday School Activities

Zombodze AFC Sunday School held their graduation ceremony on the 10th of March 2024 at Zombodze AFC. The graduation was attended by Zombodze AFC members and the graduates were under the guidance of their Sunday School teachers.

A special thanks goes to our leader Rev. DT Ndlela for his undying support for Sunday School, make mfundisi Ndlela, Sunday School teachers and all that are involved in grooming Sunday School pupils in a positive way and according to the will of God.

In addition, the efforts of Sunday School teachers which consist of make mfundisi Ndlela and Usphile Mabuza are highly appreciated. Not forgetting Mr. K Nkambule for his exuberant spirit and support towards Sunday School, he was instrumental in making sure that the Sunday School Graduation became a success.

Why is Youth Ministry Important?

Youth Ministry is important because it is crucial in nurturing young individuals' spiritual and personal development within the church community. It also serves as a link between childhood (Sunday School) and adulthood.

The Youth Ministry provides an experience that may shape an individual's level of decision making and growth into adulthood, which can be marked in various ways according to different youth church activities or teachings.

Zombodze AFC Youth Activities

Zombodze AFC Youth have their own activities, their leader is currently Ngabisa Vilakati who is the Chairperson of the Youth committee. The Youth is involved in a number of activities such as; outings, sports activities, choir and many more.

We would also like to acknowledge the hardwork and tireless efforts of the Youth advisory team which comprise of Mr. Sikelela Mthethwa and Ms Tengetile Dlamini. They work alongside with the chairperson and the entire youth committee in making sure that everything runs as smooth as possible.
